Calendar connection privacy
Updated November 1, 2026
How Augii handles information from connected Google and Microsoft calendars.
What this notice covers
This notice covers Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook calendar connections inside Augii. It supplements your organization’s agreement with Augii. The separate website privacy notice covers the marketing website and contact form.
Connecting a calendar is optional. You choose the provider account and calendars to use. Disconnecting a calendar does not close your Augii account.
Information we access
With your permission, Augii accesses your account identity, calendar list and calendar events. Event information can include titles, descriptions, dates, times, time zones, locations, availability, organizers, attendees, recurrence and meeting links. We also receive access and refresh tokens so Augii can maintain the connection without asking you to sign in for every request.
The calendar connection requests permission to read calendars and read, create, update and delete events. Available actions depend on the provider, your calendar permissions and the event type. This connection does not request access to read email messages, send email or read contacts. Your organization’s Microsoft administrator may need to approve the connection.
How we use calendar information
We use calendar information to show your schedule, check availability, carry out calendar actions you request and associate events with Augii meeting workspaces. Calendar write actions can change the selected provider calendar; review the destination and details before confirming them.
When you open meeting preparation or use Augii’s assistant with calendar context, relevant event details and accessible organization or meeting materials may be sent to our AI service provider, OpenAI, to generate preparation suggestions, answers or artifacts. Opening preparation can generate suggestions without a separate chat message. Generated content may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.
Connecting an account does not by itself share its entire calendar with other Augii users. Meeting information, materials and generated output that you add to an organization workspace follow that workspace’s access controls.
Sharing and permitted use
We use service providers to operate the connection, host the application and store its records, including Vercel and Neon, and OpenAI for the AI features described above. Google or Microsoft receives the requests needed to perform actions on its calendars. Providers receive the information needed for those services.
We do not sell connected calendar information, use it for advertising or use it to train generalized AI models. Human access is limited to your authorization, necessary security or abuse investigations, legal obligations, or other uses permitted by the applicable provider’s user data policies.
Storage, protection and retention
Augii stores connection identifiers, calendar selections, settings and encrypted authorization credentials. We use HTTPS for provider requests and application encryption for stored calendar connection credentials. This does not mean every event detail, linked meeting, chat or generated artifact is encrypted in the same way.
Connection credentials remain stored while the account is connected. Meeting links, event save and recovery records, chats, materials and generated output can have separate lifecycles. Expiry of a draft or recovery record does not delete the provider event or related Augii content. We do not promise that disconnecting erases all historical calendar-derived content or backup copies.
Disconnecting, revoking access and deletion requests
Use Augii’s connected-calendar settings to disconnect an account. This removes its stored connection credentials and stops Augii using that connection. You can separately revoke Augii’s access in your Google Account or Microsoft account’s app-permission controls; your organization’s administrator may manage Microsoft permissions.
Disconnecting does not delete events from Google or Microsoft, shared Augii meetings or materials, existing chats or generated artifacts. To request deletion of calendar-related information retained by Augii, contact trevor@augii.ai and identify the account and relevant content. Do not send your password, access tokens or confidential calendar details by email. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with your organization; legal requirements and routine backup retention may affect deletion.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Augii’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Contact and changes
Contact trevor@augii.ai with calendar privacy questions or requests. We will update this notice when the connection’s data practices change and identify the update date above.
